  • When should I call to book my move?
    The sooner you do the better. We do recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving times (end/start of the month & during summer).
  • What size is your moving truck?
    We have a 26 foot moving trucks that can accommodate almost all moves. Depending on the size of the move, some jobs may require two loads.
  • Do you have moving equipment?
    Yes, our trucks are equipped with cross straps, dollies, special blankets to wrap your furniture, and ramps.
  • Does your company provide moving boxes?
    No, we aren't equipped with boxes for each customers individual moves, this you will have to order or get on your own. As mentioned above, all other moving equipment we have to get the job done.
  • Is your company insured?
    Yes, we are fully insured. All your goods are insured while in transit or in storage.
  • What happens if I have to reschedule or cancel my move?
    As soon as you are aware there is a conflict with your moving date, please contact Gilbert's Mountain Movers Ltd. via phone or email to make the necessary arrangements. The sooner you contact us the better chance we will hopefully be able to accommodate you.
  • Do you move plants?
    Our company is not responsible for moving any sort of household plant, this is the sole responsibility of the customer. Also keep in mind, do not water your plants just prior to your moving day.
  • Does your company disassemble beds?
    We do have the tools necessary for dismantling beds if needed, our company is on your time. However keep in mind that this takes extra time on your moving date.
  • What would make the move easier and faster?
    Use proper moving boxes & label them.
